How it works
Book Signals Workflow
Cross-sell gaps
A client with commercial cover and no home policy is a reasonable conversation to have. The list names specific clients and the cover they are missing.
Dormant clients
Clients who stopped being in touch without leaving appear as a list, with what you hold for them and when you last spoke.
Insurer concentration
When too much of the book sits with one insurer, it is both a commercial exposure and a negotiating position. It is measured across the book.
Renewals worth a call
Renewal opportunities are listed alongside what else the client holds, so the call has something to cover.

Questions
Book Signals FAQ
- What does the daily book scan look for?
- Four things: cross-sell gaps where a client holds one product and not an adjacent one, dormant clients, concentration of the book with a single insurer, and renewals worth a conversation. Each is a list of named clients.
- Does it clean up messy client records?
- No. Book signals is about commercial opportunity, not data hygiene. It does not merge duplicates or test whether an email address still works. Records are normalised when they enter the book, during import and intake.
- How often does it run?
- Once a day across the whole book. The findings sit on the brokerage worklist and can be read at any point in the week.
- Does it contact clients about the gaps it finds?
- No. It lists the opportunity and a broker decides whether to act. Nothing is sent to a client because of a signal.
- Does this need my data to leave the system?
- No. The scan runs over your own book inside your own tenant, and the findings are visible only to your brokerage.
